Superheat is proud to share our recent recognition by the Industrial Safety Training Council (ISTC), having received two prestigious awards at the 2025 ISTC Safety Excellence Awards banquet, held in Beaumont, Texas.
The annual awards ceremony, hosted by ISTC and supported by its Curriculum and Program Committee, honors contractors across the Gulf Coast who demonstrate exceptional commitment to safety and accident prevention in the petroleum, refining, and petrochemical sectors. These awards are part of a long-standing initiative to promote a culture of safety excellence throughout Southeast Texas.
This year, we were honored with two significant distinctions:
- Recognition for achieving over 3 million manhours without a recordable injury, a significant milestone reflecting the company’s unwavering dedication to hazard control, safety leadership, and field accountability.
- A consecutive six-year record of operating without a single OSHA-recordable incident, underscoring the consistent performance of its workforce in maintaining safe, compliant, and responsible worksites.
Bret Cadenhead, Gulf Coast Regional Safety Manager, was in attendance to accept the awards on behalf of Superheat. “These honors are not just about hours or years without an incident—they represent the daily decisions, vigilance, and safety mindset of every team member across our organization,” said Bret. “Superheat’s culture is built on the belief that no task is so urgent or important that it cannot be done safely.”
